ABOUT THE SERVICE:
Extern is operating a Bail Supervision Scheme (BSS) for young
people aged * involved with The Children’s
Court in Dublin and The District Courts in Bray, Cork, Drogheda,
Limerick, Naas and Trim. The Bail Supervision Scheme provides
individually tailored support to young people at risk of reception
into custody or an escalation of their offending/anti-social
behaviours and their families. The BSS delivers an evidence-based
model called Multisystemic Therapy (MST) to help these young people
and their families increase compliance with Court ordered bail
conditions and reduce the risk of them being remanded in detention.
